Dr. John Dromgoole is an internationally recognized
expert on college admissions and financial aid. He has been
assisting families with the process in New England, throughout
the United States , and internationally for over thirty years.
A former school teacher in Warwick and Providence , Rhode
Island , a lobbyist and tenured professor, Dr. Dromgoole has
advised more than 2,000 students and families regarding college
placement and financial aid.
While a tenured Professor of Cooperative Education at Northeastern
University for thirteen years, he taught seminars on career
development and assisted in the training of deans of admissions
from various institutions. He then became Vice President of
the National Commission for Cooperative Education for twelve
years. While working with the Commission, Dr. Dromgoole successfully
directed lobbying efforts aimed at increasing educational funding
in the Congress of the United States . During this time, he
also had the opportunity to work closely with presidents of
one-hundred colleges and universities throughout the United
States .
Dr. Dromgoole received a Bachelors Degree from University
of Rhode Island , a Masters Degree in School Administration
from Northeastern, and he is one of the few people in the field
of admissions counseling who also holds a Doctorate in Higher
Education Administration, which he received from Boston College
.

and having visited over 500 college campuses, Dr. Dromgoole
